Omega 3 fatty acid belongs to the family of unsaturated fatty acids which are proven to be healthier compared to saturated fats. Omega 3 has been proven to be heart friendly such that regular intakes reduce the risks of primary and secondary heart attacks. Although fish is known to be one of the major sources of omega 3, vegetarian sources such as flax seeds are also available. This omega 3 flax seed contains the optimal 3 to 1 balance of Omega 3s and Omega 6s.
Some studies suggest that omega 3 can also have anti-cancer effects particularly for breast, prostate and colon cancer. Omega 3 helps reduce the tumor growth, reduce the risks of having these types of tumor and increases chances of survival.
Other reported benefits of omega 3 include being helpful in cases of arthritis, cardiac arrhythmias, and even depression.
Aside from fish, other sources of omega 3 include flax, eggs, meat (such as beef, lamb and chicken), milk, cheese, strawberries and broccoli. Flax contains 6 times more omega 3 than that of fish and perhaps is the most widely available botanical source of omega 3. For this very reason people realizing the benefits of omega 3 in their diet tend to go for omega 3 flax seed intake. Flax seeds can be bought by retail, usually per pack but others prefer wholesale flaxseed to have more savings.

There have been a lot of stretch mark cream reviews all over the web nowadays. With just a click in your computer, you can download reviews on every other brand in the market. But there is one brand that can not just show pictures of before and after on their site but can actually give you good and even better results! There have been a lot of comestyn reviews which actually attest to its effectiveness. And the answers to all questions lie within the ingredients that determine the product’s success or failure.
Our skin is made up of two key components: collagen and elastin. These ingredients are what allow us to grow and stretch, without them, our skin would become hard and stiff. It is when the skin is stretched to its limit that the fibers break and the stretch mark occurs.
Comestyn has Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 as its main ingredients. These are synthetic peptides or the foundation for the bonding of amino acids. They are extremely effective at repairing skin damage. They also greatly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and of stretch marks by making the surface layer of skin thicker.
So, be guided accordingly and choose Comestyn!

The frigid temperature has the tendency to have most of us put on layers and layers of clothing- turning us into bulky, walking lumps of clothes. This get-up may prove to be a bit difficult for moving agilely and considerably reduces our range of movement but we are very much willing to trade off that comfort just so we could afford our bodies the proper amount of protection against the cold.
All of that is well and good but what most of us miss out on is the fact that even though dressing up properly against the cold weather is the basic and most important defense against the cold weather, it is only the first step. The next step involves giving extra special care to your body’s very own physical protection- the epithelial, your skin.
During cold weather, our skin tends dry up more easily. The exposed portions of the skin tend to get wind-blown and then start to crack up and show signs of ‘flaking‘, something that some people refer to as scaling. Another special consideration arises from the fact that we hardly sweat when the temperature is cold. This means that our pores have no ay of clearing themselves up.
So what needs to be done?
First, remember that it is important to keep our body clean at all times, no matter what the weather. Take quick showers in the warm (not scorching) water. Do not forget to put moisturizer on your face and to apply moisturizing body lotion, paying special attention to the exposed parts of your skin. Since our sweat glands are not going to function much, it would be best to just take in lots of liquids and freely give in to the call of nature as much as possible.
That way, the still body gets to flush out the undesirables the natural way.
