Think Big for the Better

Are you a mom who is focused on giving nothing but the best for your baby? If so, then maybe you should not just think about the clothes your baby will wear or the food you will give him. It’s time to think bigger and try to make this world a better place for your child and for the future generations. You can do this by buying Cloth Diaper instead of disposable ones.

Cloth diapers decrease the stress in landfill sites as compared to the single-use disposable ones. In the US alone, an estimate of 27.4 billion disposable diapers are used each year which may result to the possibility of 3.4 million tons of disposable diapers added on top of other wastes put in landfills annually. One can only imagine how much this will do to the environment if every part of the world will use disposable diapers and dump on landfills.

Not only the concerns about the landfills were raised against the use of disposable diapers. Researchers also found out that disposable diapers produce three times more waste upon the manufacturing process aside from the seven times solid waste it produces when discarded. Hence, the increase of awareness to its effect to the environment led to the growth of campaigns for parents to use cloth diapers.

The battle of the use of cloth diapers against disposable ones is still not concluded up to this modern time. Some mothers still use cloth diapers from time to time at home, and use disposable diapers only when it’s necessary such as when they have to go outside with the infant where it’s inconvenient to change full cloth diapers.

The choice is yours. Would you still use disposable diapers all the time or just use them as needed?
